Get to know me

I am Benoit Sauvagnat, explorer of trees and forests since childhood, dreamer, cabin builder and eternal child.

I grew up in the Combrailles, a small rural area of ​​Auvergne in central France. My childhood feet spent more time in the forest than on the asphalt, so it was quite natural that I chose to study ecology and the functioning of natural environments.

After a scientific Baccalaureate, ecology option, I continued on my path with a Higher Technician Certificate "Management and Protection of Nature".

Following which, still very young, I started an organic garden and sold the products in an organic market., this adventure will last a little over 2 years. Then travel and the nomadic life call me. So I alternate between travel and work. That's where I discovered supervised tree climbing.

So, I worked as a facilitator on nature and climbing themed trips. I gradually understand that this activity will represent for me the perfect passion job. It took me 4 trips to decide to pass the Professional Qualification Certificate "Tree Climbing Educator" (French diploma, the only diploma in the world for this activity).

Today, it is an immense pleasure for me to share with young and old, on the ground and in the treetops this passion for trees and the outdoors.
